The to-do list:
- Remove the 3.125" pulley and slap on a 3.5" ( Too much boost for a 123mm MAF)
- Remove the stock fuel pump with boost-a-pump set up (This car is no doubt about it starving for fuel) & install the JPC Triple Pump Fuel System
- Remove stock fuel rails and install BPS High Flow fuel rails
- Dyno Tune with Dennis Gomes from Tasca Ford Mod Shop On Bonhomme Performance's Mustang Dyno
In order to change the fuel rails, we had to remove the monster 4.0L. Here's a pic of us finishing the install. |
Passing the fuel lines to the rear of the car. |
After a long day's work, we closed the shop. |
Today's DYNO day!! I'll let the video speak for itself...
Numbers? (keep in mind this is a Mustang Dyno and puts down lower numbers than a Dyno Jet)
738rwhp
685rwt
with 22 pounds of boost
Sadly forecast called for rain today... so no quarter mile times. It'll have to wait till next time!
We have yet to install the 140mm Super CJ MAF but are missing the tube...will come in soon to replace the 123mm. At the same time we'll switch back to the 3.125"... Expect HUGE gains!!!
Awesome! I hope you guys do this kind of blog update for all your non-boring work!
